The London Borough of Wandsworth is having a competition for a new bridge between Nine Elms and Pimlico, and the results so far seem somewhat crazy. It has to be a pedestrian and a cyclists bridge, so the plans feature many long and winding ramps. The envisaged capital funding would be around 40 million of Queen’s own pound (around $60 million). So the designers shouldn’t go too crazy, but, as you can see from some of the projects, they still do.
